Not placing the luggage in external location

One of the things most people do with their luggage is that they tend to bring it to their room or living room. For what purpose? You don't want to have some dirty and smelly clothes in your room, right? Plus the bugs that you might bring from the place where you stay, it is not going to be a healthy thing to do. Before you start unpacking your clothes and other things you brought, put in an area such as your balcony, garage or foyer to make sure that the dirty things will not also be in your rooms.

Not taking all clothes directly to laundry

Some of us here have the habit of not taking their clothes immediately on their traveling bags. With that, the smell of your clothes will linger on your bag. You definitely should stop that habit. If you don't want any more hassles at all, then you better have and take all your dirty and smelly clothes straight to the laundry. With that, it is easier for you to do thing faster.

Not putting toiletries bag in the bathroom immediately

One of the things you don't want to happen is that not able to clean yourself properly after taking a bath since you forget where you put your toiletries bag after unpacking. Again, if you don't want any hassles at all, you better put things in its proper places. Even if you don't empty the toiletries bag immediately, for as long as you put them to their respective area, then you will be able to know that your toiletries didn't lose somewhere.

Not putting loose items in public place

Free items you get from vacation such as the pamphlets, souvenirs and other random things you brought from the place should also be in its proper place. If you tend not to care about where you should put those things, it might be the cause of your messy home. And I'm sure you don't want to make some extra effort after a long vacay, right? So, it is better for you if you place them to any storage that you have. Moreover, if you don't want any of those things, then you better throw that away rather than keeping useless things.

Not investigating, cleaning and storing luggage

It is one of the most common mistakes we usually make. We tend to forget to check if there are some of our things that are lost or damage from the vacation. If you think that you broke something in your bag, then you should carefully unpack your stuff trying not to cut yourself or have any more damages. Moreover, you have to be careful when it comes to bugs that found in your luggage, old dirt and sand for as not to make more mess on your home.
